Refugees being resettled in the US need to file US taxes in their first year of residency, but do not have the skills to do so. Because they may be dual-status residents under tax law, their taxes cannot be prepared through the VITA volunteer program. We are seeking accountants to work with our VITA program to serve these new American families. We are seeking an accounting/tax prep practice with its own PTIN to file these taxes. We will provide scheduling, administrative support and language interpreters.

United Way of Greater Cincinnati was founded in 1915. The annual fundraising campaign became a partnership with American Red Cross, Cincinnati Area Chapter, in 1956. Today the organization covers ten counties: Hamilton, Brown, Butler and Clermont in Ohio; Boone, Campbell, Grant, and Kenton in Northern Kentucky; and Dearborn and Ohio counties in Southeast Indiana.
