Dear Potential Youth Volunteer,
Thrive Together is a non-profit community group that focuses on poverty alleviation. We are a collaboration of churches, non-profits, businesses, agencies, and volunteers. As a faith-based group, we focus on empowerment, community and hope for positive personal change and to impact the barriers of poverty.
The youth that attend our group come from families that are currently experiencing poverty. Our goal is to provide a safe, educational, fun-filled environment where our youth can just be who they are. Here at Thrive Together, our youth develop their skills through character building and leadership experience. We strive to provide hope to our youth and to equip them for success in their present and future life. As a youth volunteer, you have the opportunity to be a positive influence in young person's life.

Mission Statement
To equip, encourage, and empower people to end poverty in their lives and their communities.
Description
Thrive Together is a collaboration of local churches, non-profits, agencies, businesses, participants, and volunteers united to end poverty through empowerment, community, and hope. We work with individuals in poverty. Individuals in poverty and middle class individuals are encouraged to build relationships and set goals together through support and mutual respect for one another. Together volunteers and participants experience personal growth with a clearer understanding of the impacts poverty has on our community.
Thrive Together is designed to assist families in creating their own personal paths out of poverty while expanding opportunities, making connections, and eliminating barriers in the community that make it difficult for families to thrive. Our process is collaborative; we believe everyone has unique strengths to offer to the group when it comes to improving our own families and community as a whole.
