Each debate round has two teams of two debaters from each school. For each round, we need an adult judge to watch, take notes (which we call flowing) and decide who had the best arguments, and rate each of the four debaters on how well they spoke and made arguments. The Miami-Dade Urban Debate League (MDUDL) will train judges on how to decide on the winner of a debate round and also teach the topics that the students will be debating. We just need volunteer judges to sign up and to show up on the dates of our our tournaments and judge our students!
Our tournaments occur one Saturday out of each month at University of Miami, Florida International and Miami Dade College (North Campus)
