The DSALA is looking for someone who is familiar or willing to learn the grant writing process who can help us with much needed funding which will help us provide resources to our Down syndrome Los Angeles community. COVID has hit everyone hard, and has impacted our in person events which usually raise more funding than we have been able to in these past 2 years. Your assistance will have far reaching impact as we will be able to increase programs and resources to existing families, as well as new families looking for direction upon hearing the diagnosis.

Description
For over 45 years the Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles (DSALA), a non-profit organization, has been a resource center supporting individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
Our organization is a lifeline for new parents of children with Down syndrome. When they are facing dramatic and unexpected changes to their lives, we connect them to other families, and to community organizations that provide support, as well as vital information on educational, medical and community services.
