Trunk or Treat 2017

Volunteers are needed to decorate Halloween "trunks" with their own vehicles. Throughout the event, volunteers will interact with children and adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities or Delays and their families. Themes, decorations and costumes are encouraged for volunteers and a prize is awarded for the best trunk. Volunteers may hand out candy and/or small toys to participants.

We are looking for volunteers to decorate trunks and we also have space for volunteers who would prefer to help with indoor games/activities. Multiple people can participate in decorating a trunk, but only one person needs to sign up per vehicle. All non-registered volunteers will sign a volunteer waiver the day of the event. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 11:00 to set up their trunks and the event is from 11:30-1:30.

It is a fun filled day with a petting zoo, trunks, games, prizes and snacks. Developmental Pathways will provide allergy friendly foods for participants needing other options aside from traditional treats.

Please contact Deb Bosch at d.bosch@dpcolo.org for any questions related to the event.
