Hurricane IRMA -Volunteer to Help Family that Lost Home!

Savannah and her family lost their home in Miami-Dade County, FL due to Hurricane Irma this past weekend. The house has extensive water damage making it unlivable. Please see photo's and attached link to our website.

Savannah and her family stayed in a crowded shelter for approximately 1 week until FEMA granted them a temporary hotel room. This family is in desperate need of a home to live with their 2 year old Shih-tsu puppy who is a Comfort Zone for Savannah. Savannah is legally blind and has been diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. She's a very very happy and intelligent child!

This situation is extremely distressing to her due to the lack of stability and familiarity of a home.

As of Saturday October 7th at 11am EST, FEMA's assistance will expire, leaving Savannah and her family without a safe home to sleep that night.

Funds received will be used for:

• Food & Water
• Alternative Housing
• House Supplies (i.e. Dishes, Utensils, Towels)
• *Matress & Bedding* (All beds were destroyed during storm)
• Puppy Food & Supplies (Savannah wants to make sure Buster is taken care of)

Volunteers will help pack our Cards 4 Kids into safe storage boxes and plastic Ziploc Bags.
