Home of the Innocents received a very generous and thoughtful donation of duffle bags from Brendon's Duffles of Hope. Filled with various basic needs, these bags are given to the clients we serve. This may consist of a child needing supplies as they move from one foster home to another, a homeless client from the community that comes to us for help, or a child that comes to the Home with nothing, but the clothes they are wearing.
Volunteers would be responsible for sorting the basic needs received as donations that would be suitable for these bags and then stuffing them into the duffle bags. Once stuffed, these bags are distributed to various programs to give to their clients in need.
This effort can be scheduled anytime during the work week (Monday - Friday) between the hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Must be 18 or older.
This would be a great project for an individual or a small group of volunteers.
