Give a hospice patient the gift of pampering and feeling good!
Seeking licensed stylists willing to volunteer their time to visit hospice patients wherever they call home (private home, group home, assisted living, or skilled nursing facility). Many are not able to go to a stylist outside their home and would thoroughly enjoy having someone come and "beautify" them with a haircut and/or style, filing and polishing their nails, simply fussing over them and making them feel special.
Just having the attention can help brighten the patient's day and help them feel better. Don't we all feel better if we feel like we look better?! You can make a difference--volunteer with East Valley Hospice to bring your special TLC to our patients.
Contact Vickie at 480-895-5434 for more information. We would love to have you join our dynamic family of volunteers.

It is the mission of the East Valley Hospice staff to walk side-by-side with patients, offering support for medical needs, as well as emotional and spiritual needs. This support extends to family members as hospice helps them cope with their own unique emotional and spiritual concerns. East Valley Hospice recognizes that every person's experience will be different. The hospice team creates a plan of care according to the needs and wishes of each patient.
Hospice healthcare focuses on caring and comfort. It offers choices, helps preserve dignity and seeks to maintain the highest quality of life. At East Valley Hospice a team of physicians, nurses, social workers, home care aides, chaplains, bereavement counselors, and volunteers work together to provide comfort and companionship to patients and their families. Dr. Kent Allen, CEO and Founder, and his team at East Valley Hospice consider it an honor to be able to deliver comfort and care to both patients and their families during this time of transition.
