Do you know how long it takes for different kinds of paper and plastic to decompose? Have you ever seen how many amazing critters live in creeks in downtown Austin? Come find out while helping the Colorado River Alliance make East Bouldin Creek beautiful at a creek cleanup in Gillis Park, Austin.
We'll have snacks, good energy, good company, and gratitude for people joining us for this educational and environmental stewardship event. Just a couple hours makes a huge difference to our urban landscape!
Please wear closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothes, hat, sunglasses, and a reuseable water bottle. We will provide sunscreen, bug spray, work gloves, and trash grabbers.
