For over 60 years, Open Doors has worked in the world's most oppressive countries, empowering Christians who are persecuted for their beliefs. Open Doors equips persecuted Christians in more than 60 countries through programs like Bible & Gospel Development, Women & Children Advancement and Christian Community Restoration.
Open Doors is searching for Prayer Partners who are enthusiastic, passionate individuals who are dedicated to spreading the impact of Christian persecution around the world.
Become a Prayer Partner, and you will make a difference for persecuted believers through one of the most powerful forces in the world - prayer.
The number one request from our persecuted family is prayer. As a Prayer Partner, your prayers will unite you with our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world-and be used mightily to encourage, bring hope and spread the gospel in some of the most difficult places on earth. Each week we’ll email you a list of current prayer requests. You get to pray anytime, anywhere and for as long as you feel led.
You’ll need an email address to receive prayer requests. Completing the Open Doors Volunteer Orientation is recommended to help you learn more about the work of Open Doors, but it’s not required.

Mission Statement
Our purpose is to strengthen what remains and equip the Body of Christ living under or facing restriction and persecution because of their faith in Jesus Christ, and to encourage their involvement in world evangelism by: Providing Bibles and literature, media, leadership training, socioeconomic development and intercessory prayer. Preparing the Body of Christ living in threatened or unstable areas to face persecution and suffering. Educating and mobilizing the Body of Christ living in the free world to identify with threatened and persecuted Christians and be actively involved in assisting them. We do so because we believe when one member suffers, all members suffer with it.
