Our PEACE Program ( Patient Engagement And Communication Enhancement) is looking for recent/long term retirees to become volunteers who visit our patients in various areas. You can customize your visit focus; elderly( Hospital Elder Life), Emergency Department, Intensive Care units, palliative care patients...all visits will be meaningful and you will bring comfort to our patients. This program also looks for musicians, pet visits by TDI, artists, crafters! we do require a commitment of at least 250 hours...

Volunteer assignments are available in our hospitals on campus--LIJ and the Zucker Hillside Hospital-- plus numerous satellites. The newest addition to our campus, the Katz Women's Hospital and the Zuckerberg Pavilion only magnifies our focus on our community and the care we give!
