The Autism Center at Hospital for Special Care provides diagnostic, assessment and therapy services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. A multidisciplinary approach includes speech/language therapy.

If you are interested in working with children with Autism, volunteers are needed once a week for two hours in the range of 1-6:30pm, Monday - Thursday. Be part of our mission to rebuild lives!

Tasks: helping the Speech Therapists with group activities, assisting patients with projects; preparing materials: laminating, cutting, sorting; organizing and cleaning toys; computer work.

Skills: patience, ability to work with children, basic computer skills, organizational skills.
