CERT is a 25 hour course split into 7 classes. This is a base line training to teach community members some basic skills to assist during disasters. We cover: General preparedness, Fire extinguishing, Disaster medical operations, Light search and rescue, Incident command structure, Disaster psychology, and Terrorism. The course is then closed out with a final test and hands on "rodeo". Each student will also receive a preparedness/response bag, certificate, CERT patch, and PEMA CERT shirt. This is a free course!
