About

The Preserve is a 13.6 acre Federally-protected unique natural resource in the middle of the City. Imagine going to the mountains; but not making the long drive. Come to have fun, learn and be rewarded with seeing your accomplishments before departure. Gloves, tools and bottled water are provided. Various and many tasks are always waiting for eager volunteers including trash debris removal, leaf mulch, gathering of trimmings, and removal of invasive non-native plants as we continue habitat restoration in the Preserve. We gladly sign-off for community service hours.
