We are looking for volunteers for a wide range of activities. Shifts will be dependant on events secured for floral donations
- Administrative/Clerical - sending out thank you cards, coordinating flower donation details, assisting with bookkeeping
- Flower Donation Retrievers - Assist in the collection of donated flowers at event site
- Flower Donation Rebloomers - Assist in the reblooming of donated arrangements. Includes cutting stems, removing leaves, making arrangements, preparing for delivery
- Flower Donation Deliveries - deliver flower arrangements to donation site, will require use of personal vehicle

Description
As a socially and environmentally responsible organization, Hope Blooms NOLA is dedicated to healing through the power of flowers while reducing floral waste. Through the repurposing and sharing of floral arrangements from weddings, social, and corporate events, Hope Blooms NOLA will lift spirits and show compassion by delivering florals to those in a time of need and recovery. We accomplish our mission through The ReBloom Process - Renew, Reuse, ReBloom. Renew: From a small intimate dinner to a large corporate event, the floral donation will be repurposed into a personal sized arrangement ready for delivery to spread hope and joy to those in need. Reuse: All materials from the donation will be recycled, including vases and vessels. Any remaining florals not fit for reuse will be composted. ReBloom: Beautiful personal sized arrangements are given a new life and delivered to those in locations such as hospitals, hospice centers and shelters to promote healing and joy.
