About

The Soldiers Project is seeking licensed and insured mental health professionals to supervise MSW and MFT interns in Sacramento! Our Healing the Hidden Wounds of War program provides free therapy to Post 9/11 Veterans and their loved ones, regardless of discharge status or deployment. Volunteers with our program receive trainings in military culture and common issues faced by veterans such as PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injuries. Our volunteers also have access to additional resources such as our online webinar program, free CEUs, and peer consultation groups. Supervisors will assist interns with providing the highest quality of care to our clients. Our intern program provides hands on experience that trains the next generation of mental health professionals to understand the specific needs of the military community.

Those interested can email Shing Long, Sacramento Chapter Director, at slong@thesoldiersproject.org for more information.

The Soldiers Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has been providing critically needed mental health services to Post 9/11 Veterans and their loved ones since 2004.
