About

(work-from-home) Data Research Associate: Mine the Web, Harvest the Heart. Your expertise will help vulnerable families thrive!

At Child & Family Connections (CFC), we believe that work is most rewarding when it is aligned with the organization’s mission and the individual’s goals and interests. With no salaried staff, volunteers are a critical part of our team and given significant levels of responsibility. CFC was founded on recovery principles of self-direction so the ability (and interest) to work independently is required. Our staff all work virtually and have the flexibility to make their own hours. We meet around the city but come together in and out of the classroom in support of our programs. This lean model allows us to dedicate nearly all of our funding to help families at risk.

THE ROLE

The Data Research Associate will manage and conduct web-based research to identify corporate information for our very first donor campaign. You will also work with our Vice President of Operations to help organize, structure, and import data into a new CRM package.

You can work-from-home and make your own hours. If you have a favorite coffee shop where you are comfortable working, no problem. If you are local to Philadelphia, we hope you will join us at company events and to learn how Child & Family Connections is making an impact and improving the lives of vulnerable families living with parental mental illness.

We request at least ten hours per week, on average but we can be flexible for a person with talent.

ABOUT CFC

In 2017, CFC began development on our most important effort to date: a groundbreaking new program, the first of its kind in the U.S.- SafeTogether.

We believe we can head off the adverse effects of custody loss in many families living with parental mental illness by keeping children in the home in the first place. SafeTogether will teach parents with mental illnesses, step-by-step, how to keep their children safe, in the home, and out of foster care during a parent’s psychiatric emergency.

There is a great amount of work ahead as we hire partners to help with development, marketing, training, analytics, and more.
