Small non-profit organization focused on helping family caregivers seeks an experienced social media volunteer to help raise our profile and maintain our social media sites on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram with up-to-date information, photos, comments and videos.

We are looking to group our donor/supporter base, attract younger potential users and become more interactive with our supporters and other relevant organizations.

Only apply if you have excellent communications/writing skills, understand social media, are sensitive to caregiver concerns. You will just have to become familiar with our mission and work. See http://www.sharethecare.org.

Mission Statement

Share The Care is a grass-roots, evidence-informed group caregiving model that empowers individuals, family members, friends, co-workers, and neighbors with all the directions and advice they need to create and maintain a caregiving family to help someone they know at a vulnerable time in their life. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of anyone who needs support--and to reduce the stress, depression, isolation and economic hardship of their caregivers.

Description

Our focus is on educating and empowering people to start their own Share The Care group through workshops, presentations, and a full-day (nurse accredited) training for health professionals, organizations and clergy. Our website (www.sharethecare.org) provides information, stories, and resources. In addition, we offer support via telephone and email.
