Thanksgiving Collage

The Holidays are near and on November 23, 2019, we will host our Thanksgiving Outreach, providing our guests with a thanksgiving brunch of roasted turkey and all the trimmings! In addition, each family will be blessed with a shopping cart full of fresh food, a frozen turkey, clothing, and hygiene products. We ask for your support, we need volunteers to clean, bag food/general merchandise, load cars and serve people.

Volunteer Tasks: Serving Food, Distributing General Merchandise/Clothing
Volunteer Hours: 8:30am-3:00pm
We would love for volunteers to stay for the whole time but if you can't that is okay, what ever time you can help for we appreciate it.


If your coming in a group please send us a count of how many people and their names if possible. We be providing volunteers lunch. Due to the large amount of responses, if you don't here back from me please come that day anyway.

Description

Heart of Compassion is dedicated to being a lighthouse of hope and help for Montebello and our local communities. We rely on our valuable volunteers to help us achieve our mission of Fighting Hunger and Feeding Hope. We currently provide loads of groceries for about 600 families weekly at our public food distributions.

Mondays 9a.m.-12p.m.: volunteers needed to bag produce
Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8-11a.m.: volunteers needed to register recipients
Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9a.m.-12p.m.: volunteers needed to load groceries into shopping carts and recipient vehicles
