Community Hospice continues to need volunteers in your community and could use your support. Our next new volunteer orientation will be held June 22, 2024 at our Care Center in Ashland, KY from 9am to 12:30pm. If you are interested in volunteering, please call our Volunteer Director, Andrea Arnett at 606-329-1890. Volunteer opportunities include:
- Answering phones at our Care Center
- Operating the Care Center Hospitality Cart
- Sitting with patients at home to offer caregiver respite (most needed)
- Visiting hospice patients in area nursing facilities
Volunteers determine when and how often they work. Volunteer orientation, paperwork, background checks, and TB skin testing are required. On-site training will be provided.
