The Refugee Women’s Health Clinic (RWHC) is hosting its 9th Annual Refugee Holiday Angel Drive. The MIHS RWHC provides culturally grounded and linguistically appropriate comprehensive OB/GYN health services to refugee women in Phoenix. These women and their families have suffered and overcome war, torture, conflict, and adverse events that have led to numerous losses. This will be the first holiday season for thousands of women and children living in Arizona for their first time. Please join us as we share the joy of good health, safe environment, family and community by volunteering for the Holiday Angel Drive. Last year we served over 500 women and their families and we hope you'll join us in having another successful year!

Angel Day is the final event day where we will be distributing donations to refugee women and their families at the main MIHS campus. Prior to this day, we will assign volunteers to groups to specify their roles. These will include groups for checking in refugees, running stations, and float groups, among others.

For this day, we are especially in need of volunteers that speak languages such as Burmese, Arabic, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi, French, Kiswahili, Swahili, Somali, and Oromo.

SHIFTS: 9am-12pm, 11am-2pm, and 1pm-5pm
