The SoulDeevas Organization is seeking to develop a Modern / Liturgical Dance Team for girls in grades 5 to 12 and is looking to develop its Coaching Staff.
The Dance Team will train for local performances, competitions, and other events. As of this time, we envision the team practicing once a week on Saturdays (2 hour time slot) in upper Manhattan from November to June. The coach will be asked to select a two hour time slot between 12pm and 4pm.
Coaches who evidence commitment to the team will be eligible for a stipend in six months. We will be holding a staff orientation on Friday, October 27th from 6pm to 7:30pm. The meeting will be held in midtown, Manhattan.
Interested candidates are asked to send a cover letter which fully outlines their dance experience.

Description
Friends of MJHS ("Friends") is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of generating contributions, pledges and funds for the development and ongoing support of Citadel Academy Prep School (CAPS), a school that will provide students in grades 6-8 with a high quality Christian education through a well balanced, yet challenging curriculum that ministers to the spirit, soul and body.
Friends will also provide funds, management and ongoing support of The SoulDeevas Performing Arts Company, a character building sports and arts program that will serve all youth regardless of their religious affiliation. The SoulDeevas will include programs that provide activities, resources and support during critical out-of-school time hours in a safe, nurturing environment that works from a strengths-based, youth development perspective.
