Walk to End Alzheimer's
Walk to End Alzheimer's Needs You as a Volunteer in October!

We need your help in the fight against Alzheimer's. There are many ways to get involved and make a big impact. Become a part of the movement to end the nation's 6th-leading cause of death! Walk with us this fall or volunteer to help us plan! We will be meeting virtually as we keep an eye on Covid19 numbers.

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest movement to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. We have volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups who are interested in helping us plan over several months and on Walk Day! Community service hours are available.

The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research. The South Carolina Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, donor-supported organization. The South Carolina Chapter provides dementia education, training, and support across our state. Our offerings include:

  • Driver's License Needed
  • Must be at least 19
  • Orientation or Training
  • The time you are able to volunteer is up to you! Starting at minimum 2 hours per month. (One monthly meeting plus action items for the month)
  • We will meet virtually through zoom or google meet once per month and we stay in touch about action items through emails, so basic computer skills are helpful.
