YPN is in search of a cook for our Ready to Read program. Ready to Read is a YPN program that seeks to work with parents and children infant to preschool to build on their literacy skills while promoting reading. Volunteers will be paired with a family to work on specific literacy skills catering to a specific age.
The cook will be responsible for preparing meals for 20-30 people and then dropping it off at the program site (Hoover or Taylor Elementary).
This opportunity to preparing meals is two days every other month.
