Volunteer opportunities vary from hands on interaction with animals at adoption events, shelter support, transport, TNR and fostering to community outreach, social media, and grant writing.

With so many facets in the world of animal advocacy we are sure we can help you find the spot where your strengths will grow and become an asset to animals in shelter and Lincoln County.

Volunteers DO NOT have to live in Lincoln County, NC. With social media animals can be shared from our Facebook pages across the globe in hopes of finding adopters and rescues.

Volunteers for these positions will need to fill out an electronic application that is on our website at: www.HATSAlive.Org.

Helping Animals to Survive is a 501c3 organization. Our purpose is to act as guardians to protect and enhance the lives of companion animals through facilitating community involvement, education, legislation and leadership. We accomplish this through continued implementation of comprehensive programs designed to promote an environment of respect, responsibility and compassion, as we advocate for the humane treatment of animals.
