These volunteers work side-by-side with staff and other volunteers, assisting with all of the day-to-day operations at the Wildlife Intake Center. Volunteers will learn to feed and care for a large variety of species of many different ages, as well as get a first-hand look at wildlife rehabilitation--from infancy (or injury) to release! Some of these patients include four different Squirrel species, dozens of different wild bird species, and various reptiles from the surrounding areas.
Individuals considering a career in Wildlife Rehabilitation, Zoo Keeping, and Veterinarian Medicine will thrive in this role. However, anyone looking for a meaningful and informative volunteer position will love learning about the natural histories of these amazing wild creatures.
Please visit our website to get a better understanding of our many different volunteer opportunities and fill out an application!
