The 2017 Los Angeles Donut Festival is a fundraiser for the food pantry at The Salvation Army in Glendale, which serves over 550 families annually. The festival brings donut enthusiasts to Urban Futsal in Lincoln Heights to sample donuts from the areas top shops, indulge in a donut burger, and wash it all down with coffee as they vote on Best Donut in LA: People's Choice! The event runs from 10am-1pm.
We need volunteers to fill the following positions:
Hand Out Donuts (20 slots)
Parking Attendants (6-10 slots)
Registration (6-10 slots)
Donut Burger Staff (10 slots)
Donut Photo Booth Attendant (3-5 slots)
Shirts and Mugs Attendant (3-5 slots)
All positions will be asked to double as clean-up crew from 1-2pm. All volunteers will also be required to fill out their volunteer paperwork and watch a short orientation video prior to event day (link provided via YouTube).
This will be the sweetest volunteer opportunity you sign up for all year! You DONUT want to miss it!
All volunteers will be given a commemorative Los Angeles Donut Festival mug to each of you in thanks.

Our goal is that The Salvation Army in Glendale will become known in the community as a Christian Church that is spiritually alive in Christ; has a vision of a community-based church made up of multiple ethnic groups in the neighborhood; will provide a spiritual social services ministry/community outreach.
