We have our large Letter Carrier Food Drive scheduled on November 18th. All postal carriers in the Albuquerque area as well as Rio Rancho area will be collecting food from residents throughout the community. We will need volunteers at 11 different post office locations helping receive the food from the postal carrier then separating the food into the correct bin. We are looking for volunteers to take a 2 hour shift. Each location has a different start time.

Every week Roadrunner Food Bank touches the lives of 70,000 hungry children, adults and vulnerable seniors who don't have enough food to eat. As the largest non-profit dedicated to solving hunger in New Mexico and the only Feeding America food bank in the state, the food we distribute provides enough food to feed a city the size of Santa Fe every week. Various volunteers opportunities are available in both Albuquerque and Las Cruces to help the hungry. These programs include: Emergency Family Food Boxes, Childhood Hunger Initiative, Senior Hunger Initiative, Mobile Food Pantries, and SNAP Outreach Program. Skill Based. Your gift of service helps us feed hungry people throughout New Mexico.
