Our Transport department is looking for a few volunteers to assist staff with patient transport - via wheelchair. Volunteers also transport lab specimens and pharmacy supplies. Must be able to push patients in wheelchairs. Must also be able to be on your feet, as the position is a lot of walking.
You would be interacting with staff, patients and their families. Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills. Currently we have Tuesday, and Friday afternoons from 12-3:00 p.m.

Description
One of the most important sources of energy and support in our hospital is our team of wonderful volunteers. They offer their time, energy and smiles to our staff. Our volunteers greet visitors, deliver flowers to patient rooms, work in our gift shop, transport patients, sort and deliver hospital mail, help with events and support our programs. We have a variety of opportunities and would love to meet you. There's no better way to spend your free time than helping someone have a better day.
