Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic presents Charm City Celebration of Wishes, a fun event to support local wishes that provides guests with the opportunity to sample great food, beverages and entertainment. Guests mix and mingle, while enjoying a taste of Baltimore breweries, cuisine and more! The evening also features a silent auction, and a live wish experience.

Mission Statement
Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic is a non-profit organization that fulfills the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. The Foundation serves children who reside in Maryland, Washington, DC, Northern Virginia (Arlington, Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun and Prince William Counties as well as city of Alexandria), and Delaware.
Description
Founded in 1983, Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic has fulfilled the wishes of more than 4,500 children fighting illnesses such as Cancer, Pediatric AIDS, Cystic Fibrosis, Duchene's Muscular Dystrophy and heart disease. A wish fulfilled creates a memorable experience for a child fighting a life-threatening medical condition and gives him or her something positive to think about instead of medical treatments and hospital visits. Recent wishes include visiting Walt Disney World Resort, taking a family vacation to Australia, receiving a home computer and having a bedroom redecorated. Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic is affiliated with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America.
