Backpack Buddies helps provide weekend meals to children in our community who are at risk for food insecurity. We meet on Tuesdays from 11am-12pm to pack approximately 220 bags of food (each one contains 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 2 dinners) which are then delivered to local elementary schools for weekly distribution. The first Tuesday of each month we meet from 7pm-8pm. Supervised children are welcome to help.
We meet at 201 E. Frederick Drive, Sterling, VA 20164 in the classrooms on the hill. Contact Hilary for more information at HHLlearning@gmail.com.
