JA in a Day is a unique opportunity to get involved with Junior Achievement (JA) without juggling schedule conflicts or a long-term commitment.
We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers who want to bring their real-life experiences into classrooms in Duval County.
At this event, volunteers will help students acquire success skills by teaching JA’s innovative and hands-on financial literacy, work-readiness, and entrepreneurship curricula in a condensed time frame. This experience is both powerful and rewarding for volunteers and students alike.
JA provides everything you will need to teach a JA in a Day lesson... all we need is you!
This opportunity is perfect for employee volunteer programs.

Our volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12 th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential.
JA's unique approach allows volunteers from the community to deliver our curriculum while sharing their experiences with students.
Through an innovative partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers, Junior Achievement helps young people connect with relevant learning and the importance of staying in school. JA students develop the skills they need to experience the realities and opportunities of work and entrepreneurship in the 21 st-century global marketplace.
