TRAIL MAINTENANCE--DJERASSI RANCH--WOODSIDE
ORGANIZATION: Trail Center
Please visit the new page to apply.
The Trail Center is an all-volunteer organization that, on one Saturday each month, constructs and maintains hiking trails in the Bay Area.
On this workday, we'll be working on the property that supports the Djerassi Resident Artists Program. Our work will include making improvements to several of the trails that lead to some of the site-inspired sculptures created and donated by artists who have participated in the Djerassi Resident Artists Program over the past 37 years. Djerassi makes its majestic 583-acre ranch in the Santa Cruz Mountains west of Skyline available to the public on a very limited basis, so this is a unique opportunity to visit a truly unique and special place.
Previous experience is not necessary. The Trail Center will provide all training, tools and gloves, and there will be refreshments at the end of the workday.
