Why Not Ministries is having a HUGE garage sale fundraiser. We need volunteers early in the morning to set out hundreds of items we have for sale and arrange them in the yard. We need people to continue to put out new merchandise all morning. We need people to help load up a truck that will come pick up the leftover items. Children are welcome if you can watch them and carry items at the same time!

Why Not Ministries helps provide shelter for homeless and nearly homeless single parent families.
Description
Why Not Ministries provides funds for shelter for low-income single parent families. We give money for deposits on apartments for those who can afford to pay rent, funds to keep families from being evicted, or a week's paid stay at an extended stay hotel for homeless families. We also give scholarships to Financial Peace University to help single parents learn principles of saving, giving, and budgeting. We provide gently used toys, household goods, and clothing to needy families and offer referrals to other helping agencies.
