Work collaboratively with the Homeless Outreach Coordinators and Intake Coordinators to conduct an assessment for people facing homelessness. Work closely with CES team and supporting our data entry functions. Working with people facing homelessness virtually or in person.
* Conducting data entry functions in our Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS)
* Exporting reports from our HMIS system to review weekly cases and updates.
* Upload and entering faxed surveys into our HMIS system and tracking cases.
* Promptly answering calls and providing excellent customer service to people who are experiencing homelessness or a housing crisis in a call center setting
* Assessing persons with pre-screening and VI-SPDAT tools ( homeless assessment tool provided) in person or over the phone
Assist in obtaining documentation such as ID verification, ROI, photo content, and homeless certification and uploading into the system
Assist homeless individuals by providing resources available or information how to retrieve resources.
Build trusting relationships and developing a rapport that leads to acceptance and openness to seeking help for people facing homelessness.
Experience needed:
Moderate computer skills
Able to work in a fast pace environment
Able to work as a team
Some data entry experience
