Pickin' for Peace Fundraiser It is almost time for the most exciting musical event of the season! Pickin' for Peace, featuring internationally acclaimed virtuoso guitarist and songwriter Glenn Phillips, will be held on Sunday October 15th, at The Foundry, beginning at 6:00 P.M. In order to ensure a successful fundraising event, we need volunteers like YOU to help! There are several volunteer opportunities between now and the event, so contact us now to get involved. Georgia Conflict Center is a non-profit organization that works with local schools, businesses, jails, and many others to reduce conflict and address violence. Years of service to the Athens community has allowed us the opportunity to work with a diverse group of individuals.

The Georgia Conflict Center educates, promotes and provides effective conflict resolution skills, information and services to individuals and organizations in our community. We are dedicated to empowering individuals with conflict management tools that resolve issues and create a positive outcome. We aim to reduce the levels of physical, emotional, and verbal abuse. We are devoted to the mission of peacemaking at home, at school, at work, in our communities, in our neighborhoods and throughout the world.
