Join us at Urban Neighborhood Initiatives as we celebrate the Halloween Holiday! The event takes place between 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm, volunteers hours vary!

The UNI Halloween Party will be hosted at the All Saints Neighborhood Center & Springdale Greens Park.

The Party is a family oriented event, that will include festive food and beverages as well as spooky games and activities for kids ages 5 to 13.

Volunteer hours are dependent on what you want to volunteer for (the volunteer opportunity and number of volunteers need are in bold):
  • Setting up the party (6): 11:30 am -12:30 pm (you are welcome to stay after setting up the event and volunteer more or enjoy festivities!)
  • Serving food (4): 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
  • Take down (6): 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm (volunteers can attend the Party and then stay to for take down!)
  • Activity table (2 small groups of 2-5 people): 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm, (volunteers, preferably in small groups, must prepare Halloween themed games for for attendees of the event to play. Remember this is a family event, so the games are attended for younger children)
** UNI accommodates volunteer needs. Costumes are advised!**

Urban Neighborhood Initiatives (UNI) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation that works with communities in urban neighborhoods to build safe and thriving environments where people want to live, work, and play. We believe that healthy neighborhoods are the basic building blocks of a successful city. Accordingly, UNI concentrates on one neighborhood at a time as it builds an inclusive, collaborative template for a given community's renewal. UNI is based within Springwells Village, a 1.3 square mile southwest Detroit neighborhood bounded by Fort, Dix and Waterman Streets.
