Hello!!

As a volunteer with Priority Hospice, you can set your own schedule and availability with the patient. Some activities that volunteers can do with the patient can include: talking, watching TV/ movies, reading, gardening, and play board games. Volunteers with certified and trained dogs, experience with massage therapy or aromatherapy are encouraged to apply, but it is not a required qualification.

We provide a Comprehensive/ Professional training that can take up to two weeks to complete (depending on your schedule). We are looking for someone who can dedicate at least 6 months of their time to our patients. Direct patient care volunteers must have a reliable form of transportation, be able to pass a background check, and undergo a medical screening.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to email me at angelicag@priorityhospiceservices.com or call me at (626) 335-1082 and ask for Angelica (Volunteer Coordinator).

Thank you, I hope to hear from you soon.
