Priority Hospice is looking for therapy animals to visit its patients! Hospice is a holistic form of care and we are looking for volunteers with pets to help.
Volunteers are an important part of the hospice experience and provide a listening ear, caregiver relief, and other supportive care.
Volunteering with your fluffy companion is a great way to socialize your animal and give back to your community!
Volunteers must have a reliable form of transportation, be able to pass a background check, undergo a medical screening, and complete training and orientation. Pets must be up to date on registration and vaccinations, and be certified as a therapy animal.
