As a volunteer, you will help the instructor by engaging with students in small group activities and by working one-on-one with individual students. Most importantly, by having fun and participating in the class, you will maximize the students learning!
English@Work seeks to maximize human potential by sending instructors into workplaces across Central Texas (NOTE: For this position, you will remain in one location) - a unique approach to bringing English lessons to those who are motivated to learn and prepared to succeed. Our instructors use our one-of-a-kind curriculum customized to the workplace and to students' job descriptions.
This class will work with students from the Austin Career Institute! The class is multi-level and all Spanish speaking, with a majority of the students having completed some school in their native country!
