This volunteer opportunity is available at the following branches: Vista (Wednesdays, 6 to 7pm). The News for You Class utilizes a newspaper that has been specifically designed for struggling readers or learners of English at the intermediate level. The class reads a selection of 2 or 3 articles, reviews vocabulary and pronunciation, and the instructor facilitates a discussion on various topics addressed in the articles. Classes are typically small, usually with no more than 10 students.
