Volunteers at FIRST Tech Challenge competition events help with all aspects of the event, including volunteer coordination and event planning, technical and non-technical awards judging, match queueing and refereeing, and technical support to teams of students grades 7-12.

Events are Saturdays in the New Orleans and Baton Rouge areas:


09 Nov 2019: Destrehan Qualifier, Destrehan, LA
07 Dec 2019: Lafayette Qualifier, Lafayette, LA
11 Jan 2020: Baton Rouge Area Qualifier, Baton Rouge, LA
01 Feb 2020: Northshore Qualifier, Slidell, LA
29 Feb 2020: Louisiana Regional Championship, Hammond, LA

FIRST Louisiana-Mississippi is the official non-profit organization for FIRST Robotics in Louisiana & Mississippi, supporting K-12 robotics teams through fundraising, mentorship and event volunteers.
