Junior Achievement of New Jersey

Make an exciting difference in the future of 4th to 12th grade students in New Jersey!

Junior Achievement is non-profit looking for positive-minded adult volunteers of all ages to help facilitate field trips with our Capstone Programs - BizTown and Finance Park.

JA BizTown is an educational experience for 4th through 6th grade students where they role play as adults operating a mini economy and take on the challenge of running businesses. Students get a hands-on experience as both employees and consumers, paying rent, taxes and utilities, purchasing insurance, depositing paychecks and buying other business' products, and more.

JA Finance Park is an educational experience for 7th through 12 grade students where they role play as adults for the day with a fictional life scenario where they must budget, pay bills and make wise financial decisions.

Volunteers are needed to help support the JA staff in facilitating and assisting these two Capstone Program field trips! The hours are flexible - we will work with your schedule. We are searching for adult volunteers with all kinds of talents and backgrounds. If you are a people-person and want to serve a mission with a purpose, please contact us today!
