Volunteers work with the instructor and students either head walking the horses or side walking with the students during the classes. Volunteers also help with grooming and tacking the horses and interact and encourage the students during their lessons.
Classes are for one hour with 3-5 students per class. At this time classes are held on Thursdays and Saturdays with plans for expanding to additional days of the week.

Description
Therapeutic equestrian activities strive to provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to bond with their horses, fellow students, and their volunteers. Students experience a wide range of physical, social, and emotional benefits from therapeutic riding and horsemanship activities.
