Join Friends of the Urban Forest in planting sidewalk gardens in Sunnyside!
FUF will be installing sidewalk gardens on Saturday, October 14th.
We will meet at 9am at a location TBD to plant each garden.
No experience necessary! FUF will provide gloves, tools, materials and expertise. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty - and bring water and snacks. We will be working rain or shine!

Friends of the Urban Forest is committed to the belief that trees are a critical element of a livable urban environment. Founded in 1981, FUF offers financial, technical, and practical assistance to individuals and neighborhood groups who want to plant and take care for trees. FUF has planted over 35,000 trees on the streets of San Francisco-about 30% of the the city total street trees.
