We are looking for caring, compassionate people like you, who want to give something back to their community.
Capital Caring's volunteers are core members of our care teams. They are diverse, springing from all walks of life, and each person brings special skills that improve our ability to offer excellent care.
Our kitchen director at Halquist Memorial Inpatient Center is looking for 1-2 more volunteers to help in the kitchen. The kitchen is within the walls of the country's oldest inpatient hospice. Capital Caring has been serving patients and families in the Greater DC area for over 40 year.
We are looking for someone who is able to commit to 1-2 day(s) per week on and on-going basis. There is a need on Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's for 2-3 hours between 7:30am-2:30pm.
