In than 2 hours a week you can help adults learn English and improve their lives by becoming an ESL volunteer instructor at the Dallas Public Library!

This position works closely with the ESL program coordinator to provide an inviting and structured learning environment for adult students at a Branch of the Dallas Public Library. The literacy team is looking for 6-8 volunteers to teach our adult students the English language for 12 weeks, Saturdays this fall.

All volunteers receive training by the program coordinator, a teacher’s guide, and a curriculum ready to go from day 1!

The volunteer is committing to approximately 2 hours of time on Saturdays to lead a classroom of eager adult learners.
