We are looking for a few volunteers to help us with our weekly ESL Conversation Group. The The ESL Conversation Group meets every Thursday afternoon from 1:30-3:00 pm. This is a fun and informal program, where English as a Second Language learners gather in a safe environment to practice their spoken English. The class size is limited to 10 participants. Volunteers will not be teaching English, but rather facilitating by leading members in topical discussion. They would explain vocabulary/grammar as it comes up in conversation. This would be a perfect opportunity for a retired or current teacher, college student, or anyone with strong English skills and a desire to help other.
Please note: This is a weekly program that meets every Thursday; however, we would like to expand this to another date and time if possible.
