The ladies of The Center at Northridge love having their nails done! They may be seniors, but they take great pride in maintaining a "polished" appearance! Manicure time is Tuesdays from 10-11am. We are looking for a volunteer to commit to coming in every week, every other week, or even once a month. You would either take the nail cart around to patient rooms, or set up shop in the common area, and give simple manicures to the ladies who are interested. Simple manicures consist of removing polish with a cotton ball, filing nails (no clipping), and applying new polish of the patient's choice. Of course this is also a great way to get conversation rolling, and you'll be amazed at some of the ladies you meet! Application/orientation/background check can be done online!
