The Gallery Observation volunteer will assist the Exhibit Developer by collecting data surrounding the visitor experience in the Museum galleries. Data will be collected primarily through visual observations. This information will be used to inform future changes to the Museum Experience.
Qualifications- Good observation skills and attention to detain, including keeping track of several groups of people at a time.
- Interest in evaluation
- Experience using Microsoft Excel
- Ability to be in one spot for up to an hour at a time.

- Build a portfolio of professional quality work samples
- Experience working in a large nonprofit

- Four Museum passes given upon project completion
- Parking vouchers and Metro Transit passes when volunteering onsite
- Letters of reference and recommendations available upon request
2-4 hour shifts available from 9 am -4 pm during the week and 9 am -8 pm on Friday and Saturdays. Preference given to applicants who have availability to do varying days in order to collect a variety of data. Minimum of a 20 hour commitment, October-December.
